Pearl Masters, Ahwah Low and Shon Bong of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada first discovered E. Excel in October of 2001 when Diamond Ambassador, Dr. Yaping Guo spoke at a Nutritional Immunology presentation. “Before we joined E. Excel,” Ahwah said, “We had tried several products that we hoped would help improve our quality of life, but they didn’t seem to have any effect. After using E. Excel products on a daily basis for a few weeks, however, we began noticing changes and benefits from the products. That gave us confidence in the products and the company!”
“At first we just wanted to be consumers of E. Excel products,” Shon explained. “But, in October of 2002, we attended our first E. Excel convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. Two of our consumers came with us and when they came back they became our Downlines.” At the convention, they learned more of Dr. Chen’s mission to share the gift of health and the knowledge of Nutritional Immunology with the world. They also took the opportunity to tour E. Excel’s Springville, Utah manufacturing plant. Ahwah and Shon were very impressed with everything they saw and learned at the convention.
After that, they began sharing what they had learned about Nutritional Immunology and E. Excel with their family and close friends. Their focus at that time was on retailing products on a part-time basis—that is until their mentors and Upline, Diamond Ambassadors, Dr. Yaping Guo and Dr. Junxia Ji, shared their great experiences with them and began teaching them how to develop a successful E. Excel business. Dr. Guo provided excellent and necessary training for Ahwah and Shon, followed by constant support and sincere care and encouragement.
Ahwah said, “E. Excellers must be willing to learn about Nutritional Immunology, use a variety of E. Excel products and constantly share this important information with others. We have to lead by example—and train others in our Downline to do the same. We will always continue to learn and never stop sharing what we have learned. Dr. Guo helped us realize that an E. Excel business is all about team work. When we help others to be successful, we will be successful.”
“Yes,” added Shon, “Plus, we always strive to have a positive mental attitude. We realize that our health is our wealth.”
Ahwah and Shon also received advice and support from E. Excel’s Manager of Training and Field Development, Nancy Ige and Senior Corporate Trainer, Barbara Liang. These two remarkable ladies encouraged them to hold meetings on a regular basis and assisted them in doing just that! Ahwah and Shon focused on training their Downline members to be independent and develop effective leaders of their own in order to build their own teams. “We provided our home to set up meetings and training sessions,” said Ahwah. “We discovered that getting together regularly gave our Downline members a positive outlook and strengthened their confidence in our entire organization—not to mention strengthening our friendships as well.”
The Passport to Success Program gave Ahwah and Shon another great opportunity to help develop their E. Excel business. With Barbara’s help, they arranged to present the Passport to Success: Discovering Nutritional Immunology and Jump-Start programs in late 2006. They encouraged their entire organization to take the opportunity to complete these training programs and learn more about sharing Nutritional Immunology, E. Excel products and building a successful E. Excel business; but they didn’t stop there—they opened the programs up to anyone in the Edmonton area who was interested. “These training programs are important!” said Shon. “They help everyone gain the knowledge they need to share the gift of Nutritional Immunology with others.”
“We also advise all members of our organization to take advantage of the Excelerator Bonus!” Ahwah explained. “The Excelerator Bonus is a great tool to help them build their business quickly. For us, building an E. Excel career is just like building a second pension plan. We encourage our Downline members to be patient, don’t give up too early—commit to it for at least two years. We tell them to attend meetings and training sessions, E. Excel’s conventions and conferences, and listen to Dr. Chen’s inspiring seminars and other Distributors’ testimonies.”
“Attending convention is like getting away from home for a short vacation,” agreed Shon. “We also encourage everyone in our organization to take advantage of promotions and participate in contests. Winning contests has been really rewarding and fun for us!”
Ahwah and Shon are taking responsibility for making their dreams come true by setting goals and making commitments. “E. Excel is a wonderful company with quality products and a unique business opportunity,” they said with confidence. “We encourage all new Distributors to take advantage of the incredible opportunities that E. Excel offers. Today, we help people regain their health—and stay healthy!—thanks to Dr. Chen, E. Excel and Dr. Guo. We have made lots of new friends among E. Excellers, and really enjoy sharing the knowledge we have learned with everyone. We know E. Excel products truly work!”
