I used to wake up at three in the morning for work every day of my life. My working days were usually twelve hours long, and because of the many grueling hours of standing at the deli where I worked, my health slowly deteriorated. When Jade Ambassador, Kim Khoo, introduced me to E. Excel, everything started to change for me. Those who know me will definitely recognize the journey of how I became a successful E. Excel Distributor and owner of my own business.
My first step toward success was my decision to actually do E. Excel as a business. Even after I was introduced to E. Excel, I wasn’t involved in doing the business; I was a consumer rather than a Distributor. Does this sound familiar to you? While I loved the products, I did not actively promote them or the business until I attended a convention where I learned from Dr. Jau-Fei Chen that E. Excel products are more than just health products; they are unique, innovative, and truly effective wholesome foods that promote a healthy immune system.
I was tired of waking up at three every morning, seven days a week, and I was determined to make a change. I dreamt of sleeping in and working at my own pace while generating a good income. And E. Excel provided me with the opportunity to live my dreams.
Fast forward a few years later, and I am an independent E. Excel Distributor with a team of outstanding Distributors working under my leadership. Gone are the days when I had to wake up so early for work. Gone are the days when I had to work for someone else. Today, I work for myself, my health has improved, and I am in control of my destiny.
Although I worked very hard to get to where I am now, I could not have done it all by myself. I am where I am today because of my Downlines, who have all been hardworking, diligent and committed to building a business that not only helps others but also themselves. They inspire me to keep moving forward; they also teach me that everything is possible the moment we take our first step. This journey has not been without challenges, but with each obstacle I find myself stronger and ever more committed to succeeding!
My Downlines are constantly striving to grow their E. Excel business, to perfect their business skills. Most of them are housewives, whose resources are somewhat limited, but not their desire and determination. Between their busy schedules and their hectic lives, they manage to maximize their resources and excel in their business. They are my unsung heroes. Compared to them, I am “small potatoes.”
One of my Downlines, Pearl Master, Connie Wong, is a good example of outstanding effort, determination and taking the first step. As a housewife with a two-year-old daughter, her life could not be any busier. Anyone in her shoes could’ve easily found excuses not to be involved in E. Excel; there’s simply not enough time in a day for everything that she needs done, let alone start a business. But after recognizing the unlimited potential that E. Excel offers, she found a way to grow her E. Excel business by using the communication device most available to her—her phone.
To many Distributors, picking up the phone to call their first contact may be the most difficult challenge. But to Connie, picking up the phone is the only way to success, and she used it to her advantage. To her, it’s all about communicating, conveying the science of Nutritional Immunology and the E. Excel business to her contacts. However, she is committed to overcoming any obstacles in her way; she is determined to change her life just like I did mine.
Whether it is picking up the phone to call a contact, or initiating a conversation about health and being financially independent with a prospect, all we need to do to be successful in E. Excel is to take that first step. So get your momentum going by taking that first step! I can promise you, the journey will be well worth it!
