Jade Master, Teresa Tang believes that the public is ill informed when it comes to network marketing. “Ask anyone if they know anything about network marketing, and they usually don’t. Most people have no idea what network marketing is,” she said, “because if they do, they’d be rushing to join the business.”
Network marketing is the platform to becoming your own boss. “In today’s society, the cost to start a business is huge and not many people can afford that kind of money. But the cost to start an E. Teresa readily admits that she is extremely passionate about the E. Excel business. One reason why she is committed to E. “Being your own boss means owning your own business,” Teresa added, “which also means being dedicated to your company, your Downlines and products. Being a boss is a wonderful thing, but it also means bigger responsibilities and more things to learn. It is up to you to wake up and go to work. You can set your own hours, but remember you still have to work! The difference is, you are working for yourself—not your boss or the owner of the company you work for. That’s why it is important to understand the business and convey it correctly to people”
According to Teresa, many new Distributors tend to fizzle out after their first few months, “because they really aren’t focused on building a business,” she said. “They are looking for some way to make money fast. Building any business takes time and effort.”
Instead, Teresa believes that new Distributors should focus more on building a stronger line under them and developing their business skills so they can establish a strong base of leaders. This allows you to maximize your time. When you have five people working in your organization, that’s five times as many sales and contacts that can be made in the same amount of time.”
“One of the best things about E. Excel is its compensation plan,” Teresa said. “This plan rewards those that work—period!”
Since every person in her Downline has different needs, Teresa personalizes her training through a series of presentations. That way, she is able to give them the attention that they need to move forward, providing them with accurate information regarding the business. “Because it is easy for people to lose track of their initial goals, it is important for leaders to continue to follow up and remind our Downlines of their goals and commitments,” she said. “And believe me, it works!”
Though there have been challenges in the business, being a part of E. Excel remains one of Teresa’s wisest decisions, which has ultimately proven to be rewarding in both health and wealth.
